
Lyn McPherson is a passionate writer and mother oftwo, who has helped many mothers, worldwide, to rediscover their natural maternal instincts. Her work: Intuitive Mothering (New Holland Publishers, 2006) provides simple techniques that trigger a deeper, more enjoyable mothering experience. Lyn’s guidance has become inspirational not just to mothers, but to anyone seeking a happier, more rewarding experience of life.
Lyn’s work is endorsed by NAPCAN (National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect). She is an experienced motivational speaker and has addressed both large and small audiences. She has presented workshops and seminars on Tuning in to Your Instincts, Tuning in to Your Child, Communication and Peace.
Lyn is a contributing author to Some Girls Do, an anthology of prominent Australian female authors (Allen & Unwin 2007), all proceeds of which supported the SISTER2sister mentor program. She also contributed to What is Mother Love? (Penguin Group Australia 2008), supporting the Horizon Committee.
Lyn has featured in several mainstream magazines including Practical Parenting, metropolitan press & radio, including the Sydney Morning Herald and various television programs such as Sunrise.
With a background in nursing and psychology, Lyn is currently completing a Masters in Education (Social Ecology) at the University of Western Sydney.
She is a member of the NSW Writers' Centre and the Australian Society of Authors and is represented by Selwa Anthony Author Management Agency.
